Diesel Price In Andaman And Nicobar Islands Today (April 04, 2026)

As on Apr 04, 2026, the diesel price in Andaman And Nicobar Islands stands at ₹78.05. The price remained unchanged from yesterday. Compared to the previous month, diesel price remained same. A rise in diesel prices means that you will shell out more on commuting. Spiralling diesel prices impact transportation costs as majority of commercial vehicles run on diesel. A rise in transportation costs puts upward pressure on the commodity prices. To mitigate the impact of inflationary pressures, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) modulates the interest rates. Higher interest rates translate to a higher cost of borrowing. Thus, a rise in diesel prices can have a cascading effect on the economy.

The diesel prices are revised every day at 6 AM. The diesel rate in Andaman And Nicobar Islands is influenced by a host of factors such as Brent crude oil prices, rupee to US dollar exchange rate, geopolitical risks like war, catastrophic events like earthquake, floods, etc. which can cause market disequilibrium, supply glut by OPEC, and so on.
